New! Enhanced Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Services for Autism Spectrum Disorder
The Local Choice Health Benefits Program has improved ABA coverage provided to children ages two through six years by removing a $35,000 annual limit on these services. This change is retroactive to July 1, 2012. For more information, see the revised 2014 Comparison of Benefits, the appropriate plan member handbook/notification of changes or specific plan Benefit Summaries at www.thelocalchoice.virginia.gov under Comparison of Benefits or Plan Information, Statewide Plans.
A Summary of Benefits and Coverage (SBC) for each TLC plan is available for 2015-2016. Providing SBCs is a provision under the Affordable Care Act to help you make an informed choice in choosing health coverage options.
